@l0b0: Right, that's the way to go, and it's much easier to implement than geolocation, yet many sites don't do it. Also true your second sentence, another example for which is overriding the user's chosen font size, which I see on a vast majority of websites (not anymore, actually, as I have implemented local stylesheets to counter that).
