comment How to protect a private REST API in an javascript web application
What you are trying to do doesn't make much sense. Your data are already public (on your blog), securing /api/posts doesn't gain you anything at all.

Off topic: I noticed you deleted your previous question. It wasn't a bad question, and it would be perfectly on topic on our sister site, Code Review Stack Exchange. Would you mind if I undeleted it and send it over there?

comment Printing value of atoi of an array - what does the number mean?
@gnat This isn't about code not working, this is about explaining why the code does what it does. The way I read it, it's on topic.

Why didn't you post an answer @jozefg? Linking to your blog is perfectly fine, as long as your answer stands even if the link is removed.

comment Response Header for illegal file (format)
Well yes, but you code's task is to upload the files, not open them. That task, according to your previous comments, doesn't fail when one of the files is invalid. Thus, returning a warning makes sense. Although, I must say what I'd do is throw a 4xx and just ignore all uploaded files if one of them was invalid.

comment Response Header for illegal file (format)
Hm, if uploading multiple files won't block just because there's one illegal file, then isn't your response more of a warning (thus Warning is semantically accurate) than an error?

How about just returning a custom 4xx error? Or even a 400 Bad Request one, if you want to keep things as simple as possible?

@HerrK Why are you distributing a trial version in the first place? Can't you just host the software yourself and let your users try your hosted version before they buy it?
