Hello. I do agree with you that your question isn't asking about career advice. That said, our site is focused on specific software design & architecture questions that can be answered, not just discussed. I'm afraid your question, interesting as it may be, it's more of a conversation starter than a question that can be answered in a few paragraphs. The implied (and flawed, imho) assumption that languages don't need more than one compiler alone is enough to generate tons of discussion.
