@whatsisname That's not actually true. Plenty of places "dual-license" their code. The GPL version can link to other GPL code-bases and have more features or whatnot. While the, say, BSD version can be used in ways that violate the GPL. The license is for other people, not the owner. It licenses them to use your code. You really can do whatever you want with your own property. now all that changes if someone else gets their codebase committed to and used in your codebase. You essentially become co-owners at that point. Kinda.
