comment Why is using System.out.println() so bad?
It's used for two things, Output for Command Line Programs or a quick debugging tool. Your not sacrificing your binary life to it or anything.

Terrible attitude. This industry is founded on experience and your hurting your company by not helping him. You should feel some what good about the fact he came to you for help.

comment How do I get a job as a game developer?
I would consider this to be probably the best advice, however sanity comes into play also. When juggling another development job its difficult to go home and spend evenings and weekends developing more and not get paid for it. It comes down to "How bad do you Want it".
