What's the best place for a high school programmer to get his work noticed? The feedback on these sites may also be direct, brutal, or maybe your projects will get ignored. The important thing to take the feedback for what it is, and make improvements. Make sure to think of the community as something that is there to help you and it will. |

How do you handle regular latecomers at the stand-up meetings? If someone is consistently late, why? Punishments for minor infractions of any kind wind up making you look like a stickler for the rules. What you need instead is for the culture to change, and for everyone on the team to care enough that they bring the others up around them. If that still doesn't work, you need to speak to the folks individually, and dig to the bottom of why they either don't show up on time, or don't care to show up on time, and deal with that issue instead. I.E. treat the problem, not the symptom. |

quick prototyping in project design & development Agreed. I'm too visual NOT to draw things on paper/whiteboard. I had a pen tablet for my computer for a couple of years, but felt it was weird since my hand wasn't literally drawing on the screen. |
