For the glory, for the money and for the fun. Mostly for the money!

If you create a software for stupid users don't be surprise if stupid user use and screwed it

Probability is like gravity. You cannot negotiate with gravity.

comment Are programmers bad testers?
My two cents. Developers usually test only last changes, last fix, last feature, they did (of I did) and, in some case, they (we) are a little bit blind or lazy to test other feature.

I agree with @Dan; for a MaxOS application I build some years ago with QT library I used the Firebird database.

comment Why do most sites require email activation
I you register with my email, I receive the confirmation request and that should make me suspicious. And of course, I need to be sure the email is correct due to be able, for instance, to reset the password.

comment Resume dilemma for professional job
I know the mine should be stupid comment, but, I really appreciate your attitude and honesty. There are rare qualities. One suggestion, why don't you try to partecipate to an open source project to share your knowledge, your time and to measure your seniority working with outer developers?

I'm totally agree with you. My idea is, when you write code, write as well as you can, it usually requires same time to write bad code. Quality is something that you can't obtain in the middle of your project.
