Started programming in High school and have enjoyed it ever since. At times I feel I was born an engineer. Most of the last 12 years I have worked in Software technical support and tool-smith positions. Currently working on a large translation project from 10K+ LOC of Java to Python.

How to become an Eclipse contributor? It would be great if actual contributors to Eclipse would layout their particular paths/experiences that lead them to becoming contributors. Not just what is in the document that Philip referred to, which seems to be more a process of being selected. What was the Experiential learning that was useful or key to getting selected. Fredrik, great question!! one that I have been wondering about from time to time. |
