comment Is it viable to make a port from a C++ application to Java through LLVM
How many lines of code are we talking about? It may be worth your time to rewrite it, but that is no simple decision. Also, if your code does any pointer arithmetic I would be curious to know how that gets handled when working on the JVM.

comment Git submodule vs Git clone
Alternatively they can do git clone --recursive and then don't have to do the submodule commands. No one else had mentioned this tidbit; most people I know that have submodules advertise this in the README.

comment Name of a class that creates a bunch of classes for a process
A typical example might include a logger, mailer and anything needed to render a view for that event, such as templates. Not every action needs these things or else I'd just create them and be done with it.

comment Is there a unit testing framework for HTML markup?
@CamelBlues You misunderstand: you can use any programming language to test static HTML. PHPUnit even supports Selenium.

Also, I don't do anything with the file system. The web interface simply provides a way to do things with passwords, such as password resetting.

I can't use upstream authentication for the file-system access because the hashes are invalid, and I don't have access to the upstream hash.
