comment How do I go from “here's the zip” to a good release strategy?
@zxcdw my reading of the question is OP is asking about the best practices of writing production grade software and using CI not about the specifics.

Does it matter if its a homework question or not? If its a valid question and not a duplicate than a detailed answer is still valuable

comment Interesting Topics in Comp. Sci. for New Students?
@GlennNelson I think the question is too subjective and not a good fit for this site. "Avoid asking questions that are subjective, argumentative, or require extended discussion. This is not a discussion board, this is a place for questions that can be answered! Thus, questions that are not answerable — discussions, debates, opinions — should be closed as subjective. It seems simple enough: Fact good; opinion and discussion bad." blog.stackoverflow.com/2010/09/good-subjective-bad-subjective

comment Unit testing - Database coupled app
The point of unit tests is to test your code in isolation. If you use a sqllite db then its not in isolation. Also inconsistencies between databases can cause errors

comment how to find out if spelling mistakes in source code are a serious issue or not?
Voting to reopen. Comments in code are very different from comments in other mediums and have to convey complex information in a succinct way. I disagree that they are all the same
