What are the things Java got right? Simplicity? Also, there seems to be a strong "the rich get richer" bias in rating SO answers. The highest rated appear first, which gets them higher visibility and more votes. I voted for Robert's answer when it was first posted. I'm sure it'll stay on top once it passes mine. |

What are the things Java got right? Good points, though I think the "bean" concept should have first-class support in the language instead of just being just convention. (First class properties FTW!) |
