comment Java Frameworks
Stick with Spring MVC instead of Struts. Hibernate instead of Ibatis. Note that this question is too broad and not really a question.

comment How do I deal with a slow and undedicated colleague in the team?
The one pays your salary is your company and not your colleague.

comment Design flaws and dealing with humiliation from it
A good developer is not a developer that always make the correct decision but a developer that makes bad decision, admits it and quickly recovers from it.

The XML and Ajax should be "RIA and AJAX", or if you insist to have XML on the title you should add JSON also. "XML,JSON, and AJAX" sounds nice.

@Raynos : since it's indeed a subset, there's no need to spesificially teach HTML4. Because teaching HTML5 is actually covering HTML4.

comment Is it good to keep the bugfix comments within the code?
I won't say it's a bad practice. Anyway one of the software quality measurement is comments percentage through the source code.

I think we should get rid the HTML and CSS2 and directly jump to HTML5 and CSS3. Don't teach something that will not be useful in 2-3 years time.

I don't like the idea of putting HTML and CSS2. These things are old and we are currently in the end of transition phase. Directly start from HTML5 and CSS3, just to make sure we don't spend time teaching something that will be obsolote in 2-3 years time.

comment Is Unit Testing the primary objective of MVC Pattern?
You didn't passed the interview, did you? If no, lucky you. I won't join a company that have a very wrong mindset from the start. :) Unit Testing Definitely not the primary objective. It may help the unit testing because the concern all separated, but definitely not the primary objective.
