The one pays your salary is your company and not your colleague.

comment Design flaws and dealing with humiliation from it
A good developer is not a developer that always make the correct decision but a developer that makes bad decision, admits it and quickly recovers from it.

comment Is it good to keep the bugfix comments within the code?
I won't say it's a bad practice. Anyway one of the software quality measurement is comments percentage through the source code.

comment Is Unit Testing the primary objective of MVC Pattern?
You didn't passed the interview, did you? If no, lucky you. I won't join a company that have a very wrong mindset from the start. :) Unit Testing Definitely not the primary objective. It may help the unit testing because the concern all separated, but definitely not the primary objective.

comment I'm a manager. How can I improve work relationships and communication with programmers?
Less meeting and let your developer do more work. If you need to hold a meeting, please make it quick, short and only invite the person that really needed for the meeting.

No. Rule of Three is not about copying between projects. It's about when you should do the refactoring. This is the full explanation: "The first time you do something, you just do it. The second you do something similar, you wince at the duplication, but you do duplicate thing anyway. The third time you do something similar, you refactor." You can take a look at this reference : my.safaribooksonline.com/book/…
