"message oriented" is basically late-binding/dynamic-typing—the message passed to the object is analyzed (by that object) at runtime.

Stimulants like caffeine and amphetamines are actually beneficial for ADHD as they increase levels of dopamine which helps with concentration.

That's not true, @Jeff. He said that his ADHD was mild. Also, with more severe forms it's still possible to work, given enough treatment and self-discipline.

Although it can be a challenge to be a programmer with ADHD there can also be advantages. Many people with ADHD can sometimes experience moments of hyperconentration where they're super-focused while in the zone. Having a disability shouldn't discourage someone from doing what they enjoy.

Someone diagnosed with ADHD doesn't make them an expert on the validity of its existence. ADHD is diagnosable using the DSM-IV diagnostic manual and patients with ADHD have different MRI brain scans than those without ADHD.
