I wouldn't vote this down. Martin could be right. If Jose has some finished product (not a library, see my answer) he should just leave it as is and spend time somewhere else...

comment Can you get in trouble using programming forums or Q&As at work?
Surfing programming forums and SO? must have. Using facebook and your daily news site? nice to have.

comment Languages and frameworks to build REST services
I know there is no need, but you save some time and work when you can use the same classes and routines on client and server. You don't have to rewrite all the shared stuff and, if you are the only developer in the project, don't have to switch between languages all the time.

comment Thinking of simultaneously coding the same project in two languages. Good Idea?
Well, than you could do it once more in the first language and once again in the second. It will be easier and faster every time, that's for sure...

Better then who? And when you say "Java Developers", do you mean Java Webapp developers?

comment What do you do when you have to work on a project using a language that you hate?
That should only be a valid choice if nobody else works (or will work) on the project in the "normal" language, because the cross-compiled stuff looks terrible. Secondly you only want to do this for fun and with a lot of time on your hands. If you just in to complete a four weeks project, there is no room to write a compiler first.

You suggest to write a Windows, Linux, Android & iPhone application in pure C?

+1 just want to give this answer myself. Why isn't that upvoted more often?!?
