1.: No. There is no contract between Freddy and Acmesoft, only between (Eddie and Freddy) and (Acmesoft and Betty). Freddy can request the source from Eddie, and Eddie from Dave, ... and Betty from Acmesoft. I seriously doubt that these contracts are transitive - but IANAL.

comment Why does the US government disallow dynamic languages for secure projects?
@AndrewMarshall: "Although the report identified a software bug as the direct cause, other investigators see the causes as system design failures and management issues" - I seriously doubt that code written in a different language (e.g. Java or C++) would have gotten the rocket to orbit.

Will the JDK 7 update project receive patches from Oracle after March 2015, i.e. after the end of free updates for Java 7 from Oracle?

comment Is there any way around the field-of-use restrictions in Java?
There is this OS made by a company in Seattle. It's hard to get non-Oracle OpenJDK for that.

comment May non-GPL-compatible scripts be linked at runtime to a GPLv3 library, by that (GPL) library itself?
IMHO no, but you should ask a lawyer. See Can licensing questions EVER be on-topic?
