@Evgeny Agreed. The point is to make something hard (or at least tedious) easier through abstraction. You just need smart people who love simplicity.
Are null references really a bad thing?
If only we could eliminate the source of all runtime errors, our code would be guaranteed to be perfect! If NULL references in C# break your brain, try invalid, but non-NULL, pointers in C ;)
