How forgiving do you need to be on new employees?
@Arcturus: Sure, and I can understand that feeling. It probably does seem like nitpicking from the perspective of a supervisor, but I also think that newer employees (in general) kind of expect things like that. I basically assumed that I would be receiving minor corrections to all my work for the first month or two simply because I wasn't fully adapted to the environment. Later down the road I think that kind of criticism has a tendency to become much harder to take. Again, this is just my experience as a fresh-hire (and recent college grad).
