@pubby i would say the problem is, that 1 programmer is a staff, whatever he creates belongs to the company that employs him, seems like the company is making 7 times, that 1 programmer is still doing the same amount of work for the same pay, while other programmers getting unemployed.

Let's say the job is to create a blog website, you would probably need 2 programmers using plain php work on it for a week, but with rails, you can have 1 programmer get it done in a day. If you've done both plain php and rails, you know what i mean.

@martin but it's not like that the factory labors invented dell and book authors invented the internet. I would say that, factory labors don't like whatever dell is doing, and that book authors don't like the contents on the internet, because they are competitors to each other. But in this open source scenario, programmers are making stuff that competing themselves, which is strange.

it does appear a lot, but usually they are in different wording, like 'stressful,' 'time-sensitive,' and 'fast-paced.' Even 'we want someone love to be challenged' can imply that too.
