Why is the sudden increase in number of Git submitters on Debian popcon graph in 2010-01? @DougT. Oddly, Github most closely correlates with crunchbase: google.com/trends/correlate/… |

What's the best approach to develop a cross-browser JavaScript app? @Raynos, are you saying that fixing little nightmares as you go somehow add up to less than having one big one at the end? If you're coding the exact same website, it should be close to equal. The issue I have is with context switching. |

What's the best approach to develop a cross-browser JavaScript app? I think he's asking if it's ok to worry about compatibility after development is done. I've never seen anyone verify consistency across IE/Chrome/Safari after each added feature. Nothing wrong w/ banging out the code in one place then tidying up across platforms in the end. |

Is it “normal” for people to not work? -1 Agree w/ Fenton here. Better to assume he was telling the truth about his coworkers "doing in a day the work I usually do in an hour" and promotion over peers. It doesn't sound like his their youtube/facebook browsing is productive. |

Windows Azure vs Amazon EC2 vs Google App Engine Richard, maybe another plus for Azure is having a relational database. Bigtable's shards are a somewhat foreign paradigm. |
