comment How often do you take notes, and how are you able to maintain a consistent amount?
@Vdt - yes, that's what I ended up going with, and I'm quite happy with it.

comment Should you keep a copy of all the code you write?
@AndresF. - The difference is that if you have a security breach and this leads to the leak of a former employer's code, you are probably legally and definitely morally liable. If working on sensitive code, this could cause big problems.

comment How often do you run & test your code while programming?
The newer models have much bigger L1 caches. When did you buy yours? You may want to go for a hardware update.

comment Whats the real overhead of TDD once the entire team is used to it?
I don't think running the test exactly the same way every times is actually a positive, since it's possible to very consistently miss finding problems like that.

comment Should we attempt to review all our code?
@hammar - of course trying to find someone who didn't write the code who has the time to become so intimately familiar with it that they can helpfully review it, is a challenge

@Anna - I shouldn't have mentioned the program name. It's not the tools, it's how you keep using them.

comment Is Systems Hungarian notation still a useful practice?
I do tend to feel a completely irrational pang of regret whenever people say they don't like to use Hungarian Notation - because I'm Hungarian too - even though I have never used it myself :/
