Why waste so much time and money to protect against piracy? Most of these people aren't going to buy the software anyway. If they like the product, they'll help market it by talking about it with their friends and family. In some ways, the market benefits.

I like this technique also. The best way to learn is to teach others. Even if you don't know the subject that well, it'll force you to dig deeper since you're trying to look at it from all angles to then teach it back to others.
