@luis.espinal, It is possible to discern static and dynamic structures from the code and the running system respectively. Whether those structures are equivalent to a system's architecture will depend on your school of thought. As you've pointed out, you'd still be missing some big chunks including any architectural drivers and rationale behind design decisions.
