One problem with your proposal is that if you have many modules and decide to update jQuery or AngularJS, you will have to do it in the global. You will have to guarantee that none of the modules get broke, if you got 50 modules, that can be a impossible task by the time can force you to keep the libraries deprecated in all of your modules.

@mortalapeman If you prefer you can have the code that creates the query agregator directly in your DataContext

I can have a MarketdataContextExtensions class, that I would create in it's own file with the corresponding partial class for ContextQueryExtension on top of it. But you can create one file for the ContextQueryExtensions alone, and place all the Extension methods there.

I disagree about the 4xx, it is for client errors, per the description of the OP, is appear to be a problems with the server proccess. Maybe it would be more indicated to use a "207 Multi-Status"
