What are some database designs that support lineage tracing? +1 for all the references and putting a name to all the ideas involved! Would the linked list (doubly linked list) structure be a way of applying the family ID record strategy? If you don't think it's the best, could you give an example? |

What are some database designs that support lineage tracing? @MichaelT, thanks! Would this be analogous to Common Table Expressions in PostgreSQL? |

When not to use Google Web Toolkit? There was a development in GWT 2.1 with the introduction of ui:binder that simplifies the layout of components. Just mentioning this for anyone else that may read this post now. However, currently, GWT looks like it's being maintained and pushed forward by everyone, but Google as they now have a new baby, Dart. |

Should a Biotech company invest in developing its own software? Thanks for the answer! The kind of software development I am talking about would not alter the existing systems in any way. It would work with the APIs that the systems make available to work with the data they manage. The development I am focusing on is on software that connects and relates information across existing systems to streamline the process so that there is less manual connecting of the information. |

In MVP, should presenters instantiate and control other presenters? @RobertHarvey, It is working, but my complaints with it is that it is difficult to trigger something in the "view of views" presenter. Almost to the point of where I feel like I'm doing something wrong - which is why I posted this question. |
