comment How did you pick up the art of solving real life problems? Can you shortcut the process?
If I can say, then I have got some reasonably decent experience in very low level programming(I am talking about right down to Assembly) and implementing standard industrial cryptographic algos in them. But its just that, with languages like C++ (I have been using gcc g++ all these years) and to come across events and delegates I am thinking, "what the heck!"

@All Its not that I find it difficult to understand the building concepts of C++ or OO for that matter. I believe I am quite comfortable in those basic stuff(coded knaive projects in them),but what I am talking about is, the sheer lack of experience on real life projects and how and where things come into work. I think your suggestion that I should get going in real life OS projects is a very valid one.
