comment Should the most recent date be named 'start' or 'end'?
@Trab: that would imply a lot of type checking and value validation. "Design by contract" says (among other things) that you define a contract (protocol) for your functions and their callers are responsible to follow the protocol. In some cases it makes sense to protect some pieces of code (i.e. avoid stuff that would mess the system) but I would advice against doing it always.

Well don't have a strong opinion on that type of testing, and I don't even know the specifics of the test contents, but I'm very interested in this company (and type of work) and, as such, I'm willing to play along and a little preparation does not hurt. Its not the only part of their process (they have 3/4 interviews and a test, only one of the interviews is with HR, the others are with the responsibles for certains parts of their product).

Well you should try to have a relationship with the people in the channel. Some of those relationships may evolve to a sort of "menthoring" process. Some participation in the channel will help in this bounding process.

comment How to present my startup experience in my CV?
I do agree that for some jobs/companies there may be advantages to have a "custom CV". That can happen if there's something you can highlight which is relevant for that company. But this is not always true.

That's what I currently have, but I think it got some bad interpretation in an interview last week. The way the HR person asked abou it seamed weird, as if having "founder" in a job entry was weird (and it least it will be uncommon).
