After graduation, I joined Kashoo, a Vancouver start-up, as a member of a small team of 4 developers, I worked on all aspects of building and maintaining an web-based small business accounting software.

I am currently working as a Software Engineer at Amazon, where my job involves designing and developing the next generation of their internal financial and accounting platform.

comment I failed FizzBuzz, would you hire me?
if you are good at improving yourself, you would have brushed up your skill enough to write trivial code properly before the interview.

comment What is the difference between an engineer and a product manager?
If hardly anyone you know does real engineering, it only shows you are a code monkey who doesn't know enough people.

comment Is hiring a junior developer as a technical trainer a good idea?
There is an old saying... "Those who can do, do. Those who cannot do, teach." I think there is some truth simply because as a training you are guaranteed a source people who doesn't know much. This is why there are so many scammers in the training business.

comment Hiring programmers for small companies?
@nikie training has a huge cost attached to it, also when you finished training them they will move on to a better company. You might as well be running a school :)

While beyond a certain salary level money isn't the biggest motivator, money is the biggest DEMOTIVATOR when you don't give enough.
