System Architect / Senior Software Developer in Calgary, Alberta. Consulting on various projects, mostly with a .Net or classic ASP background. I've been developing Web applications and Websites for over a decade now ranging from using a propietary markup and ISAPI extensions(C/C++) to Classic ASP(VBScript) to ASP.Net(C# 1.0/1.1/2.0/3.5/4.0/MVC) I enjoy solving puzzles such as Sudoku and mysteries. My previous work involves using various Agile practices,e.g. Scrum and pair-programming, on a CMS project within an IS department's web development group.

I enjoy sharing what I've experienced, learned or think may be worth sharing with the world.

comment Who is a tester?
IIRC, I learned about black box and white box testing in university and that was nearly 20 years ago now.

comment Finding all the combinations of a word
However, the word 'aaa' only has the 1 permutation as all the letters are the same. If you had 6 distinct letters that were different there are 720 permutations which will make this take some time for lengthy words with a dozen letters or more unless there are a lot of the same letter being used.

comment Is it recommended to use more than one language at a startup?
How well do you understand the maintenance costs associated with using other tools and platforms? Have you thought this part through if it does add a lot of overhead for those maintaining the infrastructure, I'm not sure you have a good solution in this case.
