I am amazed by your hostility. I certainly did not expect this. I did not claim my question was perfect. What I did claim was that the question reflected what I was looking for. If I want to know why, I will add another question. Sorry if my comment confused you, I can see why it did, and it was not intentioned that way. I came to the conclusion, that in order to get information on the literate programming methodology I needed to ask pro and cons of the method. Maybe that was a wrong conclusion. So be it, I will ask a new question if unsatisfied. However, your answer gave good knowledge.

I think that my question stands clear and the responses on it will reflect what I am looking for, hence, I will not change it.

@S.Lott thanks for your answer, my concerns of bad methodology was merely due to the lack of information on the approach, which is why my question arrived here. I then concluded that not many people are using this method, and I just had to know why? I agree on your comments on OO languages and illiterate vs. literate style.

A design methodology which follows the programmers nature of the program-flow. Explain the program while programming. The program is written in scraps together with the documentation. A scrap is a code segment which has a sentence description which can be referred to by other scraps. The scraps are collected by a WEB parser, creating the actual code and/or documentation.
