comment Importing plain javascript libraries in an AngularJs application
So when you say "how should I use plain/vanilla javascript inside an Angular app" - you mean "how to use JS libs outside of angularJS app/scope", e.g. include additional script tags with jQuery etc? AngularJS is a plain JS, after all.

comment How to make sure people call methods in the right order?
Are you reinventing the wheel? EntityFramework, Linq2SQL, Dapper, OrmLite? I don't know your requirements, but creating a semi-decent ORM is complex, make sure you know what you getting yourself into. Spend a good time flushing out the design and requirements.

comment Keeping database connection
Keep in mind that having a single connection will prevent you from running queries in multiple threads. Also - opening a new connection when you need to make a db call is a safer/easier pattern, imo; measure a performance hit of opening/closing connections and make a decision whether it actually impacts perceived performance.

comment So Singletons are bad, then what?
Sometimes Di is an overkill for a given task. The method in a sample code could be a constructor, but not necessarily - without looking at concrete example its a moot argument. Also, DoSomething could take ISomething, and MySingleton could be implementing that interface - ok, that's not in a sample.. but its just a sample.

comment I failed FizzBuzz, would you hire me?
Made me wonder - why "Getting the core idea ... are far more important to me than getting it absolutely perfect."? Getting it perfect would indicate that interviewee got the idea and coded it properly, no?
