If you have any questions about the moderation on Programmers, please post a question on meta or chat. Any other attempts at communication will be ignored.
I've been a developer for nearly 30 years in one form or another. I learnt Pascal at University and my first job was programming in Fortran 66. I've since moved to C# & .NET via Ada, C and C++.
Over the years I've worked for companies of all sizes from 3 person startups to multi-national organisations with 1000's of employees. I've also worked at all levels from junior programmer to team lead/technical architect and one stint as a manager. I've seen various development methodologies from classic waterfall to Scrum implemented and used with varying degrees of success.
One of these days I'm going to get round to these books on my Amazon Wish List

What's the difference between development and implementation? The question is about Development vs Implementation. It only mentions Design in passing. |

How to find new open source projects on GitHub? This question might be better asked on Web Applications, but you might need to reword it as it currently reads a bit like a "list of X" question (the only answer you got was a link only answer). |

API Hooking - Folder Monitor Specific coding questions should be asked on Stack Overflow. However, they should include the code you have that doesn't work. |

voting system to select next set of product features @axrwkr - I misread the question when I first commented. The question is a shopping recommendation and therefore not suitable for Stack Exchange at all. |

How to crawl a website/extract data into database C#(2012) and SQLSERVER2008 There are problems with this question. In the first half you ask a non constructive "list of X" question, but in the second you ask a specific coding question. The first is not suitable for Stack Exchange, but the second should be asked on Stack Overflow. |

voting system to select next set of product features @axrwkr - no. This is a shopping recommendation which is off topic/not constructive everywhere on the network. |
