comment Client-side coding: How to prevent malicious use?
Kompletely korrekt. In fakt, koders like myself depend on this mere fakt in that it makes surfing the web easier. I don't like the way most pages I "like" are laid out. There's stupid ads, and iframes, and sometimes just crappy layotus. So aside from stylebot, i have my own "extension" that allows me to save JS for specific sites or even specific pages i visit I can basically, make everything the way i want to see it. This includes changes to the way i look facebook, removes all adds from youtube, cuts out all the extra crap on ebay, etc... Point is, you can't control the user end.

comment How do I explain to my boss what a 'Virtual Machine' means?
Have to agree with @dirkk on this one. You are WAY off base. I've worked on several contracts, including the one I'm at now, where VM's house, not only the dev enviro, but the main website, databases, and even the backend CRM. and FYI, I would even downvote this, but I don't have enuf points on this stack yet, lol.

Prime example, see my blog post about adding jQuery to any web page. spyk3lc.blogspot.com/2013/05/… Now, young padawan, go forth and try it. See just how easy it is to add jQuery to any site that doesn't already have it, then use the jquery to very easily manipulate any part of the sight without long lines of javascript. Boom!

All these long answers. In short, to answer you header, "very hackable". To answer your first 2 questions inline with each other, "without server, u lost security" && "No". To answer the 3rd, "Very easy", and finally, "Yes, with ease". There you go. All questions answered. :P

comment How to Legally secure my code?
Just a follow up. I did get a lawyer, did have wrongful termination and did get re-compensated along with a new contract leaving me to inherit a percent of anything sold. However, it's since been discovered, the man who fired me was embezzling millions of dollars and has almost left the company broke. He now faces serious prison time and problems of his own. I have since moved on, gained a much better long-term contract with another company and am much happier and wealthier being 400mi away from that headache.

comment Will high reputation on Programmers help to get a good job?
MY current "dream" job I got with 0 degrees, no hs diploma, and several years experience plus a review of my SO Answers, not that I've used Programmers Stack site much anyway, but I have to agree here. The last job I had was Government, they too review my SO Answers. Many more employers are becoming well aware of SO and hiring more based on it than "degrees" or other site/forum interest. Or so the my case has been for the last 2 years

comment Does having a high “rep” on StackOverflow help you get a job? What other community sites do?
And, If it matters, I currently make just under six figures, which is what I asked for. In fact, I make exactly what I asked for! :D

I need to update my SOC Profile, but that aside, I can tell you and people who might catch this comment, the last 2 "great" jobs i've had (including where I am) I got due to my listing and answers on SO. And one of those jobs was Government! Paid well, great benefits, crappy environment, thus why I moved on to the private company I'm with now. So in the end, while it might not be an issue for some, having "good answers" (more than high rep as my rep isn't "high") has helped me out in my last 2 important interviews.
