Working on multiple things at work? I have seen more than one person quit at my place due to constant context switching as well. |

Is it possible to call a Javascript function from C? I'm w/ @Jordan, what is the problem you are trying to solve? What platforms? Why C and not C++? |

How does learning assembly aid in programming? +1 for "You'll appreciate the constructs in higher-level programming languages more" alone. Great answer. |

Splitting code from form operations in C# I would add, 5. Keep code in event handlers to a minimum. It's easy to violate the DRY principal w/ code duplication in them. |

Splitting code from form operations in C# Like all things, it's not an absolute avoidance of course. When I see need for regions in my code, I consider refactoring the 'region' out into it's own class. |

Splitting code from form operations in C# +1, even w/ the mentions of #regoins. :P. I Completely agree w/ 1, 2 and 3. |

Why do business analysts and project managers get higher salaries than programmers? Sadly, I'm in a Widget Factory that fancies itself to be Film Crew.... utterly frustrating. Great answer |

What do you do to make sure you take proper/enough breaks, while avoiding unwanted side-effects of break taking? +1 for physical exercise. I like to run or bike 30-45 minutes for lunch, taking only very small breaks in the morning and afternoon. This has so many benefits: clear head, endorphin rush, counter acts our sedentary workplace, etc... |

How to answer to this HashTable interview question? I believe @SRKX was using C# in his example, where hashCode is the Java equivalent. The answer is valid in both languages. |

How can I select an appropriate licensing/obfuscation system for .NET? Hire some of my ex-coworkers... no one will figure out the code. |

What are the disadvantages of automated testing? As someone who works 80% of a very large legacy code base, I couldn't agree more. However, to mitigate this, I've used some of this in [link]amazon.com/Working-Effectively-Legacy-Michael-Feathers/dp/… are worth the look. |

How do you maintain focus when a particular aspect of programming takes 10+ seconds to complete? This is a great answer (helps to burn off nervous energy) and the pomodoro technique can work if you are disciplined enough. |

How do you maintain focus when a particular aspect of programming takes 10+ seconds to complete? @Jer, yeah. For me, to more coffee (I don't drink pop/soda) I drink, the less fidgety I get. I'm sure I have adult ADD/ADHD, so on days I know I need to concentrate, I try to cut out the caffeine. |
