+1 for this - there's no need to leave a mess behind. Doing everything for an orderly transition is the professional and ethical thing to do. But anything beyond that is loyalty that the company will never repay.

+1. Using SO as the sole resource to learn a language will almost certainly make you a problem user. SO is not a replacement for proper fundamental learning materials.
