If you mean COCOMO model, that is what I meant for "cost estimation function of SLOC". I think it is pointless to try to put a price on the whole code base, I just wonder what is contributed monthly measured by something else than lines of code.

I would like to have phrased it as "has been done" or "do they". I accept suggestions or perhaps I should remove "is there any" so people don't think the question in simplistic terms.

comment Does Sublime's “minimap” improve productivity?
I like number 2, I did not realise until now that I seldom use the actual scrollbar, but instead "drag" the focus on the minimap.

comment What is the difference from the push and pull development models?
The images specifically associated waterfall with push, what I understand now is that it is not a rule and doesn't really help understanding the models. Isn't that what you said?

comment What is the difference from the push and pull development models?
Now that I understand it, I see that it is not really explained in the book, just used. I like my books short, but that paragraph was not just useless, but misleading.

comment How to popularize Nemerle (or another programming language)?
He didn't say much about the language, the question is really about making a programming language popular, though the little he said about Nemerle gave some useful insights and context for the question.
