I once thought my isPrimeNumber function was not working because it kept saying that 18 wasn't one.

Thank you for the answer, it seems to be something simple that I thought it might be. Thanks for the advice, I don't think I'll dive into a book right now, but eventually. I will definitely read up on data structures since I'm clearly missing some technical an theoretic background. Thanks again!

@ThorbjørnRavnAndersen Thanks! just in case, what confused me specifically is that it is an array of a specific type.

doing something that might be the most important factor, writing code. I think non the less that the quality of the lessons a far more important than any programming language.

@OghmaOsiris: Hmmm I have to disagree, well not disagree, share a different experience in my univeristy switching to python as a first language has proven very helpful as far a I'm aware (the first was Java no C++). I don't think individual experiences count as poof that one is better that the other, that is a never-ending flame war. I might argue though that Python might be a great programming language to start with because it does not get on your way, it actually does that better that most programming languages, that gets many students....

@JimG.: I did not miss it, I'm not saying it is all his fault, or he should be crucified, the company is to blame too, I'm just suggesting, that even though it might not be entirely his fault, or maybe even his fault at all, and apology could mean, Hey! I care, I took note, and won't happen again. Not all companies are perfect, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be considerate.

That seems like a really great way to handle mistakes.

I don't agree with this premise at all, there is nothing wrong with a simple "I'm sorry" apology, I realize I screw up and will do my best to learn from my mistake. I agree the best way to * amend* yourself is not to do it again, but you if you care, you might wan't to openly show it to let others know, not every time you screw up, but he clearly felt bad about it and there is nothing wrong with apologizing.
