How can we avoid having to build yet another CRM system from scratch I meant Customer Relationship Management not Content Management System, I am sorry for the confusion. I still believe that your answer kind of applies, though. |

Programming task to test for focus on maintainability Thank you for your answer. I will use this while hiring freelancers over the web. I will not conduct any interview. I have removed the tag "interview", which might have mislead you. |

Service to test app on all the iPhones? @ElYusubov There does not seem to be any emulators. Google got me nowhere. |

How can one manage thousands of IF…THEN…ELSE rules? Wow, this really seems like the best and easiest way to structure the intricate rules. I believe it is better than any current answer so I have accepted it even if it has no votes. |

Testing Git competence I could have implemented the same using a mail-in service, taking me a month of setup in order to scale etc. While this solution is better and takes me a setup of writing one single sentence in the specifications. |

How can test users access an unpublished iOS app? @user827992 Excellent point. I thought that all developers needed to enroll. Thanks for the information. |

How can test users access an unpublished iOS app? It seems like only the developer has to enroll: readwriteweb.com/mobile/2010/12/… |

How can test users access an unpublished iOS app? @user827992 Thanks for asking. I mean the user experience. But using some sort of emulator would be fine, I think. |

When is it acceptable to NOT fix broken windows? That is the reason why our organization does not have managers: Open-Org.com ;) |

Does the LGPL allow me to do this? LGPL 3.0 states: "Defining a subclass of a class defined by the Library is deemed a mode of using an interface provided by the Library." So this should be allowed, at least under LGPL 3.0. |

Is it considered “conveying” if I share modified LGPL v3 code on GitHub? @KarlBielefeldt Excellent question (btw. that got you a vote in the moderator election, hope you want to get elected). I was considering modifying the source code and release the modifications (on GitHub) under a non-free license. It seems like there will be restrictions on the kind of modifications that can be released under a different license once the software is conveyed. |

Is it considered “conveying” if I share modified LGPL v3 code on GitHub? I agree that it is the intention of the license that I should be allowed to do this, but I am not sure whether it is the case after lawyers have a look at the license. |

What constitutes “distributing” for LGPL v3 Is the same true also for LGPL, which is the focus of the question, then? |

What constitutes “distributing” for LGPL v3 Git is published under GPL v1 (as far as I can see), and I believe that there is a difference with regards to what constitutes distribution between GPL v1 and V3 (which was one of the reasons for creating a new version). I am though very unsure about, this. |
