Should I perform encryption in the front end or within the database? Thanks everyone! I think I'm not necessarily looking for a hardened status, just that our app is going to use and store email addresses. We want to encrypt those when they're stored so in case something were to happen to the db then there would be hopefully that little extra step for someone to actually get useful information. |
