Why do some programmers think there is a contrast between theory and practice? @Michael: I don't think so. Agreed they impact good & bad engineering. "Equally?" How many of us programmers have Win 7 Ultimate with 8+ (I've 32 GB 3790x processor) RAM & developing for customers running XP & 1 GB RAM. Hardware constraints force programmers to think! (Remember, we all are lazy :)). IMHO, > postive for Good Engineering. |
