Does async/await makes simple thing unnecessary complicated? You're absolutely right, but I think the OP might be referring to the fact that so many "Windows Store App" APIs are offered only in an async form. Sure for your own functionality you have a choice, but when calling their API you don't. I could be wrong though :-) |
