Cool. Now look at Stack Exchange that is not developed in VB6.

comment “Kill switch” in customer hosted environments, to protect payment?
+1. I'm in Very Eastern Europe and we recently has a case when a program with a variation of a kill switch lead to criminal prosecution. So the outcome of "Average Joe" versus "Greedy Lawer" can vary.

comment Simple method for reliably detecting code in text?
Actually this IMO enforces poor questions like "I have a problem please help me, the code is below" - quite rarely code needs to be separated from the question. Best questions go like this "I want to achieve this and wrote these two lines of code, but the effect is the following, what's the problem" - there's very little code heavily interleaved with plain language.

comment What if the client needs the ability to retrieve passwords?
@Robert Koritnik: Doing that can expose him to criminal liability in many jurisdictions if his company is dumb enough (the latter is quite likely given facts in his story) so it's not a very practical idea.

@Jungle Hunter: If it is really is how you describe it - well, that happens, just pass the internship and get a job in another company where a software developer is needed.

@Jungle Hunter: And that's how it usually is - your job is more useful than you expect.
