I enjoy clean, object oriented code, simple & powerful api's and slick solutions. I try to give back but more often than not I ask more than I answer :)

I work at a silicon coast .com doing back end integration and big-ish data work.

I am primarily interested java, Eclipse and maven. However, I've been known to dink around in Python, Perl, Bash Scripts, Windows Scripts, HTML, javascript, PHP, CSS, C, ASP, VB, C#, OSGi, PDE, RCP...and the list goes on. Lately I've been learning hbase, hadoop and getting really deep in solr.

I occasionally blog here and I have contributed open source code & documentation here and here.

comment peer review code documentation
I'm really not asking two questions here. I really am trying to figure out how to review wiki documentation. How would that work with this: "you give the documents to the reader, he reads it, adds comments or suggestions for changes and finally you discuss the suggestions." What are you saying, print it out? Send it as a text doc and ask for inline comments? I'm looking for something like crucible... for documentation. Make sense?

comment Is it “normal” for people to not work?
One of my mentors, my team architect has a term for these types of people: "paycheck players".
