I'm interested in computer graphics, algorithms, combinatorics, mathematics, and meta programming. Languages I use are Prolog, C++, Objective-C. I make graphics and educational applications.

@DocBrown OK. Feel free to reformulate my question, english is not my first language.

comment How to embed an article in the source code?
@DocBrown I want to write text in same file as the source code so that I can generate an article with actual code that is guaranteed to compile. I want to manually mark which blocks of code and which blocks of text belong to the article, and it would be great if it was integrated in the build process. And for the typos: have you never seen a missing < in a web page due to a conflict with html tags ?

comment Why don't research papers that mention custom software release the source code?
I had not even thought of this situation where the authors would publish only a compiled version just to prove that the software actually exists, because it doesn't help understansing how they did - by how I means implemetation details.. I love to read source code!

@Rig I think the way I asked the question is a bit ambiguous. I'm wondering why they don't release the source code of the programs..
