comment Is it effective to review code in language I don't know?
I have a feeling there's a bit of difference between the definitions of Code Review here, kinda reminds me of this question on CR Meta: What IS a Code Review?. I would not exclude something specific and say "Code Review is NOT about XYZ". It also sounds like you're saying that experienced programmers does not need their code reviewed, something that I very much disagree with.

comment How bad is it calling println() often than concatenating strings together and calling it once?
Even though this is very little code, I have to say I have been wondering the same thing. Would be nice to determine the answer to this once and for all

comment A module which is used by most other modules
Specifically when it comes to loggers, singletons seems to be the best practice (or at least most common). Either that, or a static factory (which probably uses a singleton somewhere within it).

I guess a build XML-file is a border case between Programmers and Code Review. I don't think this is a SO question since you don't have an actual problem, but just want to know if there's a better way. I personally feel that your question is more related to the structure of your solution than actual code, and therefore I think you should try Programmers. If you don't get any help there (which I doubt), let us know and your question will likely be re-opened. Otherwise, feel free to start a discussion about this on our Programmers Meta.

@Phoshi If you would write that as an answer and (if possible) provide links that shows that there is a separation of the two, I'd gladly accept that answer.
