comment Project (that contains reverse engineering) hosting + license
I have to agree that the main issue here is confusing "illegal" and "against TOS/EULA". Add to this that even if it might be against copyright there are still a fair number of fair use rules on your side. Basically as long as you don't try and sell it, or your tools don't help damage the online environment of a game you're not going to have any problems.

comment How do you learn Regular Expressions?
Regexbuddy is one of my favourite tools. Seeing the tree view is incredibly helpful, as is being able to test instantly as you generate your regex. I've learned a lot more regex without trying to learn it just by using it.

comment When deciding on whether or not to work for a new company, what are your dealbreakers?
We have a limit of 200mb but rather than using the shared drives the common way to collaborate on documents here (large NHS hospital) is a constant back and forth of word files with tracked changes. Chuck a few pictures in these files, random pictures and PDFs and my inbox is a nightmare to manage, I'm constantly pushing the upper edge of my limit.

comment Which comments instantly ring alarm bells when a programmer says them?
I've got 2 of these statements in my codebase and I feel dirty about it but on the rare occasion it is sometimes needed, usually that rare occasion involves some level of poorly documented voodoo in IIS and .NET and I have to agree with Tony, sometimes you just have to let it go...

comment Biggest mistake you've ever made
Agreed, I was about to start work on redeveloping the intranet and this firmly placed proper use of GET and POST at the top of the requirements. ASP MVC also helps makes this easy and intuitive to do.
