Learning new stuff, be it a language, instrument, sport, whatever, always remember - If it ain't hurtin, it ain't workin

I like to plunge into different stuff, flip through random questions here. Then even if I don't understand an iota in 'em it's still ok for me, coz in world of tech, ya better watch wat's around ya.

I like java, python, php. javascript, jquery and html5 is real fun at times.

In spare time, I lose myself in sketching, painting or blast some monstrosities in Doom3 or Dead Space or play RoadRash, true classic.

actually, not only the memory, they are wary of CPU load as well. They opine that jvm significantly load up the CPU. (also edited the question)

@YannisRizos: we are NOT building a UA parser, we are working with it. And yes, that's the same parser we are using

actually, we are working on UA parser which runs 12 ms quicker in java than in php to find out various device info from a single supplied UA string. only thing they are not opting java is that it is heavy, need to install jvm on processing servers, additional work that will be put in while properly developing php-java association
