comment SQL query or C# .net code for csv files import?
We have a schema for each vendor that sends us data and we load into a permanent table because we need to keep the data historically. After validation which is done via one or more stored procedures the data is put into the target table using the SQL merge command.

comment SQL query or C# .net code for csv files import?
The company I work for imports many 100,000 of rows of financial data using SQL only as this was faster than using a C# loader. YMMV.

comment What's the historical reason of including DOS-stub in PE images?
I'm getting old and my memory is not what it once was but I seem to recall that if one tried to run a Windows application (like Word) in DOS then it would start up Windows and run. Maybe that was the reason - it was a convenience for users who spent most of their time in DOS.

comment Break on default case in switch
@Robin Putting in a comma is different. If it is not there and someone adds a new value to an array then they will get a compile error. However there will be no compile error if the previous case statement is missing a break - so it would be possible for this to be missed and cause run-time errors.
