What did programmers do before variable scope, where everything is global? They were different things. Macromedia caused a lot of confusion in version 5 (of both) by calling everything Shockwave, including Director, when packaged for the web. Authorware was discontinued by Adobe after the acquisition, Flash is sort of still going. |
