comment Do you really have to do BDD/TDD in a test first manner?
To be fair isnt the question more about whether when doing BDD (not TDD) whether we should be writing the test first?

comment Is there a standard class name suffix for talking to remote services?
So your saying the thing that talks to the service is a proxy? (I don't want to use the term "Manager" as it has no standard specific/accepted defintion - there are already plenty of posts on stackexchange about why not to use this vague term in class names)

comment How to avoid “managers” in my code
@Klaim yep - I think it was Uncle Bob that said writing code has two purposes: 1. To work! 2. To communicate with other developers :-). I wish more developers would take more care in trying to name things, its more important than most people think.

@gnat I disagree. I have described the situation in full (rather than giving part of the information required). So I do not see the similarity to "identify this obscure TV show, film or book by its characters or story" type questions.

"find the right word corresponding to the real responsibility of your type" - though i totally agree with this, often there is not one single word (if any) that the developer community has agreed upon for a particular type of responsibility.

comment When do you use a struct instead of a class?
"Use a struct for pure data constructs, and a class for objects with operations" in C# this is nonsense. See my answer below.

comment When do you use a struct instead of a class?
Obviously there are at least 3 C programmers (got upvoted) having read Michael K's answer ;-)

comment Is it dangerous to substitute unit tests for user testing?
@MushinNoShin thought so, most of the testers I have worked with unfortunately are still doing just manual testing!
