+1 for being straightforward. But the emphasis is on the "wait"; execution of this code will STOP on the first line of the loop and not continue until an event occurs. This is different than a busy polling loop that is repeatedly checks for an event until one occurs.

Good answer. In an interview, you should say that this could have scalability problems because it calculates the contents of all glasses. Also, you need to handle the case where water pours out of the bottom row of glasses. And you want to return glasses[N-1], because the glass numbers start at 1 instead of 0.
